It is easy to fall into misconceptions about the Trinity. There are two common mistakes people make that could be very dangerous. The first one is called polytheism. This is when people believe that the Trinity is three separate Gods. The Bible is very clear that there is only one God. The second is that God is just in different “modes”, or that He is acting differently at separate times. This is called Modalism, and can be very dangerous to believe. There is one God, of one nature, but He exists in three persons.
